I don’t like to waste time entering my username/email on all websites. The browser does have a feature that allows you to save them, but it also saves passwords, which is not what I want.

So I developed Lumberjack which is a small extension for Firefox. It takes care of saving usernames and emails.

To do this, simply enter your username or email once and then press Ctrl + Shift + L (Cmd + Shift + L on Mac) while keeping your cursor in the text field to save. Its content will be locally saved and even synchronized with the Firefox account if you have one.
